I discovered some old rolls of undeveloped film and had them developed. Among them was a roll of Fuji Provia 400 slide film, which was cross-processed in C41. Some of the images produced interesting results.
Here's the first one that caught my eye: A mundane bowl of fruit, that turned almost unnaturally vivid and displays a very pleasingly structured grain.

Hi friend, very good !!!!!
You would help me with a vote in my post., Thanks !!! ;)
Thank you. I will check out your blog.
I love the colours of the fruit and indeed the grain has an interesting effect. Do you have any more similar results from this roll?
Thank you. I have a few interesting results. I didn't realise what was on this roll and only after developing discovered the fantastic results of cross-processing Provia. Was planning on doing a series of shorter single photo posts, so each image can stand for itself.
That sounds like a great idea, look forward to it!
Are you threatening me!?
What makes you think that?
Run as you may! You cannot escape...the Almighty Bunghole!
I actually had to google Cornholio to realise what you are going on about. Pretty hilarious. ;-)
Oh geez... I read the title, saw fruits and though you found some old bread roll..
I must be hungry :p
:-D. Not really the kind of roll I would recommend eating. Maybe I should be writing about old bread that I found? I'm sure I can dig some up in my kitchen ;-)
Hahaha :D Maybe better not :p
Though I am pretty sure the it could be quite a photogenic object :)
