Comúnmente llamada cayena, en mi país, conocida también como hibisco. Esta es una especie con muchos pétalos. Pasa a ser llamada como cayena triple.
Además de ser la flor, de una planta de uso ornamental, por ser muy frondosa, tiene amplio uso culinario y medicinal. Como té refrescante. Como digestivo. Presenta muchos antioxidantes. Contiene vitamina C.
