Wildlife
Here is PART 1 of my walk through the garden from yesterday. Today I'd like to share more of the grounds and what I think really makes this place come alive which is the actual wildlife! Not completely wild per se...more cute and adorable. Like these turtles climbing all over each other to get close to the sun's rays.
This duck doing a little stretchy stretch before settling in for a sunny nap.
One of the pathways around the north end of the Koi pond. It's nice to just sit on the edge and watch the fish swim around. Sometimes they pop their heads up to see you but I think it's because they think they're about to get fed.
One of my favorite parts is what seems like could be a small boat docking area. Just a beautiful trellis covered in vines.
Nothing like listening to the summer breeze through the willows.
A towering Ginko tree (my favorite!)
Mossy part of the garden
The waterfall and stream which feeds into the pond. I love the hidden pagoda in the background. Makes me feel like I'm deep into a magical forest.
