Been a long time that I have not wrote here because it wasn't as rewarding as it used to be. Steemit value is low and my write ups aren't as appreciated if you pegged it to the number of upvotes it got. But after much thought I told myself irregardless of how I felt art in itself is worth sharing so allow me then so share the public art that made my day sunnier in Canada during fall season.
A. Subway stations
When one is in Canada, one has to learn the various transportation available. One of which is the subway which doesn't only have an assigned musician but also offer a delightful visual stimulus to any commuter
B. The streets
With musicians playing violin or guitar or drums to be discovered or for your penny these alleys or streets are an artistic experience.
Walls, pavements and even hydrants are medium to the artistic juices of its inhabitants.
So yeah you guess that right I am always ready to strike a pose or to take wonderful pictures.
Diverse in their subject these streets speaks to us the social issues of our time and reminds us once more our humanity above our struggles.
C. Beautiful buildings
From a posh condominium to a government or private building these structures really blew your mind away by their complexity or the sheer simplE elegance that they have apart from their utility.
The picture above is a fire station near London while below is of the Royal Ontario Museum
Gone are the days that shopping centres were exclusive for buying stuff. Nowadays ,they have become places to appreciate artistic creations.
For example those beautiful sculptures below is inside Eaton Centre, a shopping mall that dates back ages ago.
Restaurant are no exceptions as they have a unique facade to attract a particular set of diners. This picture was taken in front of a Vietnamese restaurant in Spadina street
Just walk around and you will see for yourself the Victorian homes of cabbagetown where I reside or the massive European inspired buildings.
D. Fascinating bridges
Even the bridges are interesting irregardless if they are decade old or modern.
E.picturesque gardens
Last but not the least, the vast well maintained highly diversified gardens.
So yeah Canada isn't just for the adventurous but also the artsy ones
