It was time for me to change phones because my One Plus 8, which I have had for the past four years, has a bad battery. Even before the last phone, I wanted to give an iPhone a go, but I decided not to because I couldn't see its worth. Why pay crazy money for an Apple badge when I can get just as good a phone for half the price?
Still, I knew that I wanted to try it out at some point and see if the hype was any justified. So now I finally decided to do it and get myself the best iPhone there is. My heart was bleeding and I felt like being robbed but I got a 16 pro max which is the best one at the moment for 1500eur.
I have been using it for a week now. It's a good phone for sure but is it worth the money? I strongly lean towards the no. It's comfortable and looks good but I still stand correct that other flagship Android phones are just as good for a lot less money.
Although I have to admit, the camera is crazy good for a phone and I think it's the best one among the phones. It can take up to 48MP shots and has a lot of features and settings to change. It can zoom in 25x and even then retain some quality.

One more pretty impressive feature is that it can take really good low-light photos. This is taken about 5 days ago.
My big camera is still better hah. With an iPhone, I can take good wide-angle shots because I don't have a very wide lens on my Nikon. At least I have tried this phone now, feeling like a cool kid or something now.

Those pictures are impressive. I'm still committed to my fold phone android, but I've always been impressed when my partner asks me to take pics on her iPhone. The .5 view on the wide lens is very cool for getting those big shots while up close and personal. Congrats on the big new purchase!

I thought long and hard about upgrading from the Samsung Fold 4 to the Fold 6 this holiday season, but eventually decided against it. Like you said, my current phone already does everything I need, so what's the point of upgrading for $1000?

Here in Estonia 16 pro max was 1500eur so 1550USD.
