When you look at the debt on the planet of $233 Trillion and say the ratio is suppose to be 9:1 in real collateral to be solvent using GAAP you get the crypto at about .00004% of the global money supply. I suggest even if the money supply is leveraged way more like 300:1 go ahead and extrapolate that generously by dropping four zeros - so .4% so if cryptos took 1% of the money supply on the planet you could add a zero to the $5300 USD and that brings it to $53,000.00 per coin being extremely conservative. Also, nothing can be in a bubble that is not widely held! The big money is now looking at cryptos wait until they start to buy it. It is by far the lowest risk reward asset class ever created IMO. Don't get me wrong I do expect 20-30-40% corrections to come all followed by new record highs.
That is of course assuming BTC is staying on top, but I do get your point. Crypto's are still a very, very small portion right now of the global market cap. And IMO undeniably the currency of the future. I am kinda surprised that most governments are so late looking into this technology. But I am glad they are, cause it gives them less time to develop a new currency that is centralized, like China seems to be doing with NEO right now. Anyhow, people paying attention right now will be secure, even with little investments like myself ^^

US Banks will never be bankrupt. They only need to issue more notes with their printing machines. The petro dollar is the international currency for reserve. A few billion notes won't harm the 80% of world trade.
But if Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, UAE, Qatar decide they will dump the dollar for maybe ether, then america's economy will be in deep turmoil. America's primary export item is paper notes called USD.
They don't really have much value (how much does paper cost?) but since everyone uses it, (or is forced to use it), it has a good demands.

Hi Paul, You had and are right, you did warn us all, and it happens. Governments and banks do milk us till the last penny ,..... You made a good choice to be free and independent. That will feel as a big relief and freedom. So I can imagine that waiting for the new test drive in the VAN feels like ages ,.. but it will be worth it. Nice start and ending of your post with the very real stuff we will have to face in between. Yep, the financial system is getting to it's end. When it collapses, that is the question indeed. The central banks in Europe are still floating around 60 Billion Euro / month to the markets, our interest rates at savings accounts are getting close to zero, many companies and people cannot get a loan from the bank, and we are getting quickly, very quickly AI powered societies and economies reducing the number of available jobs for humans rock bottom. That last is in itself not an issue, it is an opportunity, but we need to transform our entire money thinking. I'm afraid we are way to slow to do that, since most of us still think we will not see big changes by comparing to the past, but what these people don't realise that this time it'll be different.
But hopefully Burning Man will be there for the foreseeable future and beyond! Did you make it this year?
How SUPER COOL!! I never been to Burning Man yet, I never could convince my friends, but this year I did. We couldn't go though, but next year it is on the agenda! Love to go to the African edition as well.

I am no economist by any means of the imagination but I speculated about 6 months ago that in 5-10 years max fiat currency would be a thing of historic relevance, but not that relevant as it will be pretty much history. So where does that leave the current global 'juggernauts' They all collapse or are they all mega whales in the crypto world currently? What sort of future crypto regulation awaits us when the elitists wake up and realize they are losing the power? Government when they realize their false printed notes are valueless and all of society is on the Cryptocurrency bandwagon? Interesting times ahead and the future looks bright... Cheer$:)

Yes, I believe the elite will be the whales but since most cryptos are decentralized we get a chance to own some just don't sell if you want to float to elite status. The van was not ready and too dusty for my tent so no. I will try for next year.
