Overflowing emotions made the air electric and hard to breathe.
Tear gas penetrating my eyes but I was more curious to grasp the daily reality of those I had never met than fearful of what was to come.
It was fascinating to observe both good and evil splattered across the side the participants chose to see it at. The ‘right thing’ becoming a point of view flowing with the tides, the way a feather would on a breezy day at the shore.
Violence for peace. Death for life.
And one man just quietly taking it all in.
