Trametes versicolor, Turkey Tail Mushroom.

Nov. 25, 2017
Boise Idaho.
Temperature range for Nov, 5-25 : High of 66, Low of 43 degrees Fahrenheit.
Precipitation range for Nov, 5-25 : 0" -.25"

A fairly reliable method for knowing when to go mushroom hunting is knowing that mushrooms respond to temperature and precipitation changes. Typically, a two or three day temperature fluctuation of about ten degrees Fahrenheit combined with an increase of humidity can trigger a mushroom to "fruit".
