Just got back from Vegas so here are some of the highlights :)
I stayed there for 4 nights and had a blast!
The view from Tropicana Ave and Las Vegas Blvd
So I started off at the south end of the strip- Hooters Hotel and Casino. Originally built in 1973, it has undergone 7 different owners and name changes, eventually opening its doors in 2006 as Hooters. Source
Directly across the street (Tropicana Ave) you can see the MGM Grand.
Opened in 1993, the MGM Grand was built onto an existing hotel known as The Marina. At the time of its opening it was the largest hotel complex in the world. Source
Giant bronze statue of the famous and iconic lion.
Hakkasan is a very popular night club in Vegas
Don't forget the hotel and casino the road was named after :-D Opened in 1957 it is one of the original casinos still left standing, although it has been renovated several times. Source
Across Las Vegas Blvd we have the medieval themed hotel and casino Excalibur which opened in 1990. There is a really neat arcade and a knight themed show for entertainment.
Almost feels like Disneyland or something :-D
Just a little further south you will find the Luxor hotel and casino- shining the beacon of light from a solid black pyramid structure. Opened in 1993, its amazingly bright light can be seen up to 275 miles away. Source
Plenty of cool statues to admire while wandering around the property.
An obelisk that is right on the sidewalk as you keep going further south.
Close up of the sphinx and pyramid.
Sorry couldn't resist, looked really cool!
Tucked neatly behind the Luxor and Mandalay Bay is the beautiful hotel called the Delano. Definitely recommend stopping by just to see the lobby in this place!
With a full aquarium inside the Mandalay Bay has been attracting tourists since 1999. Source
Used the manual setting for this one.
It just wouldn't be Las Vegas without New York, New York!
First opened in 1997 this centerpiece of the Vegas strip has a full rollercoaster and arcade as well as many shops and restaurants inside. Source
Same shot but in manual mode.
There is even a statue of liberty!
There are pedestrian bridges at almost every major intersection in Vegas. The tricky part is not getting lost or turned around...
The Monte Carlo and the Mandarin Oriental are on the west side of the strip... have to get better close ups another time.
The Aria is at the heart of City Center, opened in 2009. Source
There is no shortage of designer stores on this part of the strip :-D
The Veer Towers can be seen leaning in opposite directions.
That will have to do it for part one. I have many more pictures to share so check back soon for the rest.
All pictures were shot with a Canon Rebel T6 using the no flash mode or manual mode. I am releasing all of these pictures into free domain so feel free to re-post or use these images, but please give credit to @HotsauceIsLethal (or just Hotsauce) :)
Very nice , especially that light from the pyramid . Perfect time to go travelling while the crypto market is in the red
I know right! Things started tanking so fast its kinda crazy but good thing we both got in super early on a lot of these coins and are still in the profit :)

Indeed. It can be dangerous for those who cannot control their temptations however :-D

Finally got approved for Steemit, thanks for the invite. Only took about a week. Awesome to see such a detailed account of Vegas from a tourist's perspective! Glad our paths intersected. Now, off to figuring out this infrastructure...
You only forgot to mention the super awesome, amazingly hospitable staff you encountered ;)
That town will make you or break you!
