Before And After Beach Photo

Hey guys, I recently bought a Nikon D3400 DSLR mainly to take photos of food for my blog.

I took photos of a beach and I tried editing it.

I was testing out a post-processing system called Lightroom and I've no idea what I was doing.

What do you guys think? Which one is better?

Is there a free alternative to Lightroom? My free trial has expired and I don't take enough photos to warrant a year's worth of purchase.

bottom photo catches my eye more..it's incredible what photoshop can do! Unfortunately, I can't do sophisticated editing, so I can't recommend any alternatives. Best of luck!

Awesome pic! Loooove the colour of the blue in the photoshopped version! Unfortunately I'm not very tech savvy and the only editing I can use easily is an instgram filter (so lame). Haha

Thanks! I'm also not savvy in this photoshop stuff. I just moved to a few buttons and voila! Instagram filters are great. I still use them!
