I had the shutter speed set to bulb with a 45 minute exposure. I was fortunate to have a clear winter night to take this. I love how the trees wilt to the streaking of the stars.

maybe it was windy and the focus of the trees is a bit moved but it is a good shot, congratulations
Thank you. I tried a shorter exposure but the streaking of the stars were not as long and the trees were still a little blury
all the different colors are really amazing. I don't really notice that without seeing them in this context. Do you think some of the brighter ones could be planets? Or is the white streak the moon?
I dont really know my night sky very well but. This is a pictue was taken of the north west sky around 9 to 10 oclock.
