Photography 14 | Golden Hour at Harajuku / 原宿でゴールデンアワー

Capturing different scenes of a country we are travelling to is a must (along with our other personal goals☺). Its fun to collect photographs because for us, it would serve as a timeless souvenier.☺

We were walking around Harajuku before sundown not just to feel the vibe of the whole area but also to witness how the whole scene looks like with some sunlight and shadow play. I was made aware that the whole area looks nice during golden hour.

Harajuku is renowned for its colorful street art and fashion scene, from street wears, vintage wears, and cosplay shops. Basically most of the shops and trendy cafes here are youth oriented. The whole area was mostly crowded of youngsters. Either shopping, hanging out, strolling around, etc. There are lots of things to do here, but we mainly focused on taking photos.☺

The way the sun sneeks in every gaps of each establishment, to wash light onto the facades of the artistically modern storefronts across is mersmerizing. Shadows tracing the facades and the street creates a unique dynamic of the whole shot.

These staggered oriented stores looks simple yet appealing. I also like how the shadows of the electric cables across this stores looks like. Can you see the hand on the small window?☺

This is how that store at the middle looks like at front. Kinda looks creepy!☺

"Now is forever"

We literally have to wait several minutes just to take a clear picture of this grafitti because a lot of people were passing by and were also taking photos with it. ☺

As this area is famous for a lot or reasons, make sure to include this in your itenerary when you visit Tokyo.♥
