Before and After of editing of a photo

in #photography7 years ago

Hey friends,

I wanted to share a few photos to show the difference between how the photo looks straight out of camera and what it looks like after I edit with Lightroom/Photoshop. If you have any questions, please ask!

I love it! Really goes to show how much effort is required in post to get that extra wow factor out of a photo!

Lots of people don't understand what takes place behind the scenes so its always cool to share these. Im glad you like it!

So awesome! You should think about posting tutorials with those programs!

Thats not a bad idea at all!

love the editing style. on the last photo you can see that it was way to dark in the original. long exposures are great. i like the yellow color in the second one more, in the first it's to much red in it for me.

Thanks for the honest feedback. Its nice to get some constructive criticism as most photographers seem to not want to be give it in afraid of being offensive. thanks dude!

I think that you are a better photographer than me, but i like to write what i think about photos. (art in whole i subjective so something i like someone can think is crap, and vice versa). And i do this because i really like when i get constructive criticism on my photos. i could accept that or not, but i will certainly think about it and it will help me in future work.

Wow these edits are insane. It's crazy to see how much these photographs improve. I'd love to see exactly what you do to get from the raw photo to the finalized image. Thanks for sharing!

I'm going to do a portrait before/after series soon. I personally think those are more interesting. I've considered recording a video of me editing. Maybe I will do that and post it here!

Love your colors. Do you use presets? Also, in a few of the before shots all I can see are the dust spots, drives me crazy when I need to clean my sensor hahaha

Thank you and no I do not use presets. haha yeah, sensor dust is super annoying!
