In this fourth image from a collection of twenty-six, viewers again see the fall colors in full display at Arlington.
There's a powerful contrast going on here. Notice the tan dying leaves of the tree on the left against the still vibrant green of the tree front and center.
To tie together the living and the dying, the vast rows of tombstones provide a remembrance of those laid down in service so many years ago.

i went to this place many years ago when I live in the US. It is quite a scary yet peaceful place. It's so huge and tragic.
Hey gooddream. Long time no chat. Thanks for your support and comment. Your experience is one many people share when visiting Arlington. Our family moved from West coast to East, and are now in Virginia, about a two hour drive to DC. Both of my wife's grandparents on her father's side are buried at Arlington, so we visit frequently now. I'll be sharing a bunch more photography showing exactly what you speak of.
