First Day (New Delhi to Pantwari via Dehradun)

Again it was 26 jan, the day we are proud of. I have made a promise to myself to hoist tiranga on a new peak every year. So it took me to the Nag Tibba trek this year. No doubt, it was an awesome trip, it was supposed to be good, we had "FUN" with us, we had Inderjeet with us. The three musketeers #RBI again started in the same way but this time situation was little different, We had lots of load with us , out sleeping bags and tent and the backpacks.so we had to take a direct vehicle for Dehradun, so after little hustle on the ISBT new Delhi we finally got a bus at 10 on the friday night which dropped us at 5 in the morning in Dehradun. Its always fun travelling with these guys as they can't let you sleep the whole way. We enjoyed the whole journey in excitement of whether we will get something to eat at the top, how will we make the arrangements for the bonfire, how will we pitch our tents. We were not afraid of all this but we were excited to enjoy the thrill. When we reached Dehradun, we rushed towards the railway station the catch another bus for Pantwari. Went few kms wrong way then came back but then also we reached Pantwari which is 90 KMS from Dehradun at about 12.

Second Day (Pantwari to Nag Tibba Summit )

By the time we had already seen 2 live road accidents that we were afraid of hiring any vehicle who can drop us little more upwards, So we decided to trek from this point itself, Pantwari Village. Had some food from the local restaurant and started heading up. As we were in a rush bacause we have targeted the complete 13 kms trek for next 6 hrs. The visibility will be very low after 6 PM, so we turned on our speakers and started crossing other trekkers one by one. People were so excited to join us as its easy and lovely trekking up and listening to your favourite music, You don't even care that you are tired or you need some rest. We took our first hault after 3 kms beside a rock as it was sunny day, and there are no cafes on the way.

Beautiful House where we had rest for the first time

After having few chocolates and some water, we steeped up again and targeted to not to stop before first base camp. And we ah=gain started crossing fellow trekkers giving thumbs up for their effort. As soon as we reached base camp, it was getting a bit colder as the sun was planning to go asleep. We were afraid as it was still more than 4 kms left for us to reach to our destination and we had to make some arrangement for the food also, as we can't get anything to eat at the top. So a Good girl gave us 3 Maggie packs for the night , we thanked her and stepped up again. it was 6:30 when we were at our destination. Everything was freezing when we reached, We were not in condition to stand anymore, but we had to pitch our tent and collect some wood chunks for bonfire. So Rohit and Inder went for bonfire arrangements and i pitch the tent and put all our gatherings into it.

It was all dark outside and my body was seeking for a hot tea, and anyhow we arranged it from other guys who were here with guides and all. As the bonfire spread heat sideways, We had to have fun now, So started turned the volume higher and slowly people started coming out of their tents to see whats happening outside as everybody was in a mood to enjoy the night. Now we had a huge gathering and fun all around people sitting around the bonfire started singing and then stepped up dancing and enjoyment was at its peak. this time it was like, We can't have a better evening than this.

After having Breakfast we stated descend at around 10 in the morning. On the way down once we lost the way but after half an hour we found the guide and were back on the right trek. Had hault in between for the lunch, out cook made pullao for all of us and then by 2:30 we were in Auntar Village where our cab was waiting for us to drop in Mussoorie.

Woke up at 5 in the excitement of another destination LAL TIBBA that we were going today, had breakfast in the hotel and started towards the new advenutre. It was about 4 kms road but we covered all on foot enjoying talking and listening music. And the top was amazing, It had a telescope through which you can see Gangotri peak very clear, it appeared as we can capture any human being also if somebody is there. Had cold Coffee at the cafe and we 5 spend around 2 hours and the cold breezes of a sunny day. It was awesome, the best part was on this peak we had network coverage so we shared live videos with our families.
