Common Poppy

in #photography9 months ago

Today, I am going to share some pictures of flowers which I captured near the library. It is famous as a common Poppy. It is also called Papaver Rhoeas. It is an agricultural weed according to Wikipedia. The bright orange colour looks so attractive to the eye. The petals are really like paper. It is commonly found in England and Scotland. I visited the Library when I found them so I thought to share it with you. I know there are flower lovers on this platform and the summer is going on in the UK so it is the best time to capture the beautiful natural beauties which are present around my surroundings.

Well fortunately I captured many shots of this flower which resulted in great. Why I am saying this? the answer is here.

The three stages of flower growth are captured in the camera. The first one is the bud and the image of the bud is here you can see:

Then there is another stage in which the bud slightly opens. Have a look:

The fully bloomed flower. The final stage of flower growth.

Here you may find another stage of the flower called the Capsule: I doubt the capsule stage and did not find anything clear regarding the capsule stage which is why I am not saying which one is the capsule stage. If any of you know about the capsule stage then let me know in the comments. The pollen part after petals separate from the flower is like a hard eggshell with no hair that would be I guess the capsule stage.

Some more flowers with weed.

The vibrant ones.

I tried to capture the pollen part of this flower but the weather was so windy so it resulted in that:

That is all about today's post. I hope you like it. Spread positivity and be calm. See you soon Insha Allah. Have a nice day. If you found any errors in my writing then please forgive me as I am not good at it.

Well, at least you tried capturing the pollens 😅👌

Images are beautiful for sure 😊

Great photos. I can't remember a movie I heard about something like poppy. I think it's into the badlands...is it the same flowers. Now I can remember it's milk of the poppy. Are they related or different?

Beautiful ❤️😍

Red poppy flowers are so unique in themselves. Their thin petals are absolutely amazing. Usually I see lots of Honeybees hovering over the poppy flowers.
I too have some captures of red, white and pink poppy flowers.
Thanks for sharing such beautiful shots. :)
Cheers! :)
