Here we are on the Cabouillet Bridge, a charming bridge spanning the Oise River. From there, we admired the view of the calm waters of the river, as well as the L'Isle-Adam Beach, which is a true summer oasis. Its fine sand and clean water are conducive to swimming and family or friend gatherings when the nice weather comes. A great place for socializing.

Downstream from the Cabouillet Bridge is the sculpture of Sirène Evila (a contraction of "Eve de L'Isle-Adam"), proudly perched on a rock at the water's edge. This rather slender statue represents a mythical mermaid and adds a touch of mystery to the place.

Nous voici arrivés sur le Pont Cabouillet, un charmant pont enjambant l'Oise. De là, nous avons admiré la vue sur les eaux calmes de la rivière ainsi que la plage de L'Isle-Adam, qui est une véritable oasis en été. Son sable fin et l'eau propre sont propices, lors de la venue des beaux jours, à la baignade et aux rassemblements familiaux ou entre amis. Un bon coin de convivialité.

En aval du pont du Cabouillet, se trouve la sculpture de la Sirène Evila (contraction de "Eve de L'Isle-Adam".), qui trône fièrement sur un rocher en bord de rive. Cette statue assez fine représente une sirène mythique et ajoute une touche de mystère à l'endroit.

The mermaid Evila, much like the Zouave of the Alma Bridge, provides an indication of the significance of the Oise River's floods.
