My good buddy here in Hoi Aa runs a restaurant. They have to close for a few weeks due to the global pandemic. So, we cooked up some of the remaining food for a photo shoot, so when they open again (*I hope they do) we would have some marketing to use.

Here are some of the photos from this shoot.

  • They sorta remind me of Pac Man...I mean if they were pac man, it would explain why the ghosts wanted to eat him so much, like look at that sexy beast. Yum, I would chase it down a hall and eat it too!

  • These are my favorite all-time dish here in Vietnam. Its like Britto, but Vietnamese style.. or maybe a britto is just a Spanish take on this style of food? Hrmmm... I will have to go ask someone this question.

  • This is a Mango Salad. OMG, epic and tasty. The little things that look like noodles, you see them? They are not. They are Mango Noodles. Its an epic flavor and so dam tasty!

    These are some great food shots! Food can be tough to photograph because if the lighting and colors aren't right, it just won't be appealing. This all looks delicious :)

    I agree with you 100%. I was a bit concerned coming in as it's all shot in natural light. I did use Lightroom to do a bit of color correction better pop food color and make it look more appealing. :)
