The variety and creativity of those masks is astounding sir johannpiber! What is the difference between the old style and the new style though? A professional blogger would show us the difference.
They have these fairs or whatever you call them just at Christmas time?
When I was young the masks habe been much better - there is not much creativity at these masks - most are made from movies like Lord of the Rings.
Of course I could show you the difference, but unfortunately when I was young I didn't have a camera :( ... but I have added Wikipedia links though ;)
The Krampusses run from mid/end of November till 6th of December.

That is their purpose, but they do prefer to scare young nice girls ;) lol

It might have worked in the old days or with young kids, but nowadays it's just an event. Some are scared, but all have fun :)

Those are the scariest outfits and masks I've ever seen, that's for sure!
I would be !DERANGED scared too if I met such a mask somewhere in a dark alley ;)
