We are in North Texas, only about 45 minutes from the border of Oklahoma so it would only take an hour or two to find snow.

That's perfect - if you need snow you take a few hours off work, if Mrs. J lets you, and within 2 hours you see that cold white stuff ;)

She knows, what's good for you and what not, and if she says No, then I think, she is right most of the times ;)
We men do not know what's good for us. This is, why we have our beloved wifes 🙂

Some do, some don't - I know that my wife is almost always right, but sometimes I don't admit that she is right ;)
