I don't care about baseball.
I love going to baseball games and other sporting events, but NOT because I want to watch baseball or whatever sporting event is going on.
Here is what I like about going to the games:
- Stadium food
- Cold beers
- Snuggling
- People watching
- The mascots
- Finding our seats
- Walking around the stadium
Some people actually paid attention to the game. So silly!
But I don't really care what happens in the game. Actually, I don't even KNOW what happens in the game because I never pay attention long enough to figure it out.
Which team is which? Beats me!
We went to the Nationals vs. Braves (had to look that up) game a few weeks back at the Nationals Park stadium in Washington D.C. The Nats were down 8-0 when we left the game.
Do I seem like I care? Nope.
Here are some of my favorite shots from the game.
Believe it or not, we had to go through this tunnel to get to the game.
Price gauging in its element.
Yummy fried potatoes!
This guy has team spirit all the way down to his piggy toes.

Meet Screech.
A nice girl let me take a photo of her shirt.
The Metro was single-tracking on the way home, so we had plenty of time to investigate the escalators on the platform:
As this post very clearly lays out, the baseball game was fascinating. Non-stop action, with loads of high fives, innings, dugouts, bases, peanuts, and cracker jacks. And Bazooka gum. Honestly though, I have no clue what happened.

Many thanks for your comment @dihoa :)
I will actually watch basketball and football...but baseball I end up people watching, too! They are just too long for me. Fun pictures and even more fun memories!
I know right!!? Thanks @thesimplelife :)
Baseball games just take too long, nobody pays attention to a game that lasts 3 hours when the score is 8-0..... but you're right, the trip, the stadium, and all the rest is what makes the event worth attending. Thanks for your insights @jaymorebeet
Oh yeah! That's the best part- and there's tons of variety in the food these days too!

hahaha..you're so amusing @jaymorebeet, and I love your honesty :) I totally get just going to games or even concerts for atmosphere alone..that's always been me too :))
My husband always tell me I distract him from the game because I see it as an opportunity to snuggle. Apparently that's not cool to do at a baseball game....What gives?! Thanks girl!
hehehe snuggle 1:0 baseball game :)) You know whose side I'm on! ;)
