I'm using a Canon T2i with the EFs 55 by 250 kit lens at 250mm right at the minimum focusing distance then crop zooming. I really want a proper macro lens but steemit hasn't made me the big bucks yet.

The T2i is an older one I think they are up to the T4 or T5 by now. Lol
I knew they were up higher, but to see what you are able to do with an older rig means I don't really HAVE to spend $1500 on a body to get quality. In the end the optics are the money part, but still I am trying to get a good idea of the potential of each level of camera, so your images are helpful.
