"She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbor:
"Winter is dead." ~ A.A. Milne
Spring is upon us. That means all the different genus of flowers are beginning to bloom. I stopped and took a shot of this daisy while taking an afternoon bikeride yesterday. This daisy, bathing in the sun, was taken with a Canon 80D camera using a 18-55 mm lens.
The daisy, or Bellis perennis, is part of the Asteraceae family, was originally only found in Europe, but was brought to the U.S., amongst other countries, over time. Usually found between early summer and early fall, they actually can bloom for a lot longer if conditions are perfect.
It appears they indeed are.
Nature is love.
