The male fan throated lizard.......

highly territorial..... constantly scanning his territory from the highest viewpoint for any intruders!

This great image was taken in Maharashtra..... India, during the breeding season.....

to me, he also looks like a bass guitarist of a rock band ... either way, the pose is bold and proud - anyone intrudes his territory, will surely have a hard time

Looks very full of himself!!

I would run from that thing like my life depended on it!!

Actually these are Agamid lizard found in India. This specie of lizards are found on land instead of on walls or roofs..

every living thing wants to protect his territory. the lizard is doing the same. nice capture I like wildlife photography too.nice color combination. perfect click

I love the colors of this lizard. The lizard looks so proud and so serious. This shot is very impressive, it's like the lizard knew you were taking pictures and it is posing just for you. It must of take you a while to get this amazing shot.

This lizard is on guard to protect its territory..Very agressif and courageous...maybe with the colourful skin can attract females.

Reptiles are some of the most fascinating creatures out there
