It was cloudy around Lake Bled today, and in some places it was raining quite heavily. At the lake itself was beautiful spring weather and I could even see some tourists swimming in the lake. | Rund um den Bleder See war es heute bewölkt, und stellenweise regnete es sogar recht stark. I can only imagine living there!!! Can you picture the view? Forever Yours? If one could own a view! Oh, to be able to swim in the frigid water, whenever you please! I love Slovenia and how often we remember how beautiful, but forget the true loveliness.
Superb shot and what a dream of a castle!

Sorry for the late reply, but I was on a hike yesterday and came home too late.
Thank you very much, @dswigle, Slowenia is a beautiful small country, and I love to go there whenever I can. The lake Bled is a real gem and only about an hour away from where I live, but I go there preferable not in Summer, because of the millions of tourists ;)

Thank you so much, dear @pixresteemer :)
Looks like a very nice place. I love castles especially built on a cliff or in the top of the mountain. Noted as a place to visit in the future.
Thank you so much @erikah 😊
I have never been up there, but I also want to visit it later this year :)
Excellent news, I hope you're going to post about it :) I'd love to see it.
I will, of course, just don't know yet, when this will be 😁

Thank you @old-guy-photos, this place and Slovenia at all has beautiful views, wherever you look :)

I like that rock face. The place is beautiful but I have my suspicion that the water is a little cold still. Brave tourists:)
Some of the tourists have been wearing swimsuits and some have been swimming, and yes, @prydefoltz, the water is quite cold ;)
Thank you very much for your nice comment @prydefoltz :)
Seen many Bled photos but this one is truly amazing! keep up the good work! A pleasure to meet you*

Great shots @johannpiber. I love those castles and churches on the weirdest places in the Alps. Such craftsmanship building these structures on those places back in the day.

Thank you so much, @tijntje, this castle is really beautiful up there on the rock. I haven't been up there yet, but I'll visit is this year and post some photos of the inside then.
I will look out for that post @johannpiber
😉
Who would have thought it was raining heavily not far from there and such a beautiful day, what great shots can you visit the castle?
Good morning JJ,
yes, a bit south of the lake (behind me) were dark clouds and south west I have seen heavy rain, which was heading towards my direction, but I have left long before it could make me wet 😉
Yes, you can visit the castle, and I will do it later this year - on a nice day in the morning, when all the tourists are still asleep ;)
I always liked to look at the castles that are built on a high rock. They have a lot of greatness and labor of the people who built it. After long centuries, which had little effect on the stability of these structures, it remains for me to scratch my head))) and think about how they were able to accomplish this at that distant time.
Your photos, my Dear friend @Johannpiber, perfectly emphasize the inaccessibility of these structures and the engineering genius of their creators.
That's right my friend, in these ancient times they knew where to build, and when to build. They knew, when to cut the wood for the roof, that it did not burn.
Building was so much harder than today, but they built houses, castles which still are there, while nowaday buildings would have fallen a long time ago.
Thank you so much, my friend @barski, have a nice day 😁
Now I am curious, if it works: !tip

I have encountered myself, that @tipu has had some yesterday, but I thank you very much, @dswigle :)
holy cow look at that place! wow, it looks like there isn't a road up to it. Have you seen the other side? If not you have to go back. lol. That is fantastic, just think of the views!
hey sir johannpiber, you are using smartsteem, are they still giving the 10% ROI or is that increasing? I think I remember reading that they want to get the ROI up to 47%.
It's been awhile since I gave any tokens: !ENGAGE 100
There is a road up - on the other side, as you meant ;) I haven't been there yet, but I am planning to visit the castle next time. The view over the lake will be great, and I am sure to take some beautiful photos.
Yes, I spend the SBD I get and some of my Steem on Smartsteem. I don't really care about the ROI, as long as I get more out than I put in ;)
I have had a look: It says, that the curation is 25% and from 10 SBD you will get 14.125 SBD...
Thank you for the tokens - I give them back to you 😉

Howdy today sir johannpiber! wow you are going up to that castle? Man, that is going to make me so envious! lol. I can't wait for those photos!
Thanks for the information on smartsteem, that's a very smart investment and a great way to grow your account.
Thaks for the tokens. lol. you're supposed to be stacking them up into a big pile and then someday they'll be worth something.
Good evening, @janton :)
Yes, I am going to visit that castle this year, but I don't know when. The weather is acting very strange, nearly every day we have rain. So, you can plan only from one day to the next, but not for one week in advance :(
These tokens are nice, and maybe they will be worth something someday. I always forget to give away some with my comments and replies ;)

Beautiful castle with wonderful scenery! It's great that the castle is situated on the very high cliff! It would has really nice atmosphere there.
Very magnificent mountains and gorgeous lake! Great capture! ;)
The castles were once all built on a hill or rock because of the security against attackers, and to have an overview of the working population, I think ;)
Thank you for the nice compliments about the photos 😊
You're welcome! Thanks for further explanation about the castles! ;)
My pleasure 😊
