It would have been a really nice autumn mood that Sunday morning at the reservoir, if it had not been only at the end of July.

Es wäre eine richtig schöne Herbststimmung diesen Sonntagmorgen am Stausee gewesen, wenn es nicht erst Ende Juli gewesen wäre.

Misted Sunrise / Vernebelter Sonnenaufgang

Color or black and white? Both versions look almost identical, except for the light morning colors, which can be seen on the color photograph. It had rained all night and the dark clouds were still very low. The fog under the clouds has kept the sun from illuminating the area in sunrise colors.

Farbe oder Schwarzweiß? Beide Versionen schauen fast gleich aus, bis auf die leichten Morgenfarben, das man auf dem Farbfoto erkennen kann. Es hatte die ganze Nacht hindurch geregnet und die dunklen Wolken sind noch sehr tief gehangen. Der Nebel unter den Wolken hat die Sonne davon abgehalten, die Gegend in Sonnenaufgangsfarben zu beleuchten.

I know these photos are pretty old, but I thought they would fit in just before the fall, so you can tune in to the misty sunrises 😎

Ich weiß, dass diese Fotos schon ziemlich alt sind, aber ich dachte, dass sie jetzt kurz vor Herbstanfang passen würden, damit man sich schon auf die nebligen Sonnenaufgänge einstimmen kann 😎

I think they are both beautiful and i if I had to pick one would got for the B&W version in this case

I am not really ready for autumn yet i am hanging on to summer as long as I can and your talking of Autumn in July 😂

Thank you so much JJ, this was a real Autumn day in July, foggy and also cold. I prefer the B&W too.
My day was quite good, the weather was nice and hot, but in the afternoon the first clouds came and it should be raining tomorrow, they say. This is, why I drove home ;)

Sorryt o hear rain is coming your way, today was meant to be sunny but so many clouds are passing over, I stick my head out of y dungeon, oops I mean office and see the sun out go and grab my camera to head out for a walk and the clouds are blocking the sun again, but still a good day

I don't mind very much, we have had a few really beautiful days anyway, and tomorrow we'll see, if the forecast was right or not 😉
As long as the clouds don't turn into rain or storm clouds, I think I could live with them. A blue sky looks boring on photos anyway ;)

Ohh yes some clouds do add character to any seen, although I l blue a totally clear sky is never that exciting

I definitely prefer the colour picture. Whenever I see nice looking B&W photo, I always wander how it looks in colour. And if I will have a chance to find colour versions of the picture, always enjoy it more than B&W.
@johannpiber, I do like your B&W picture but colour versions is so much more enjoyable. 😃😃😃.

The color version looks friendlier, while the black and white conversion is more of a dramatic dark moody photo in my opinion. I like the color photo more too :)

They look so similar, because it is the same photo - one is the colored original and the other one is the photo converted int black and white ... that's all I did 😉

True, and I do love those people, who run amazed around and who shout "wow, what a beautiful view, how beautiful nature is" or so, and the next moment they throw their trash on the ground.
That has just happened last weekend when group of tourists marveled at the waterfall where I was and on my way back to the car park I found their waste on the ground - I hate that!
