Never mind ;)
A good and sturdy tripod is important, but when I think of the latest Canon lenses I can honestly say, in some cases they replace a tripod, because the image stabilisation is excellent. Of course, long exposures need a tripod, but the landscape images which I have made yesterday at Lake Bled were all hand held.

Yes same for me mos tot my images are handheld the only time i use a tripod is for long exposures the res to fate timeI shoot hand end as well Image stabilization on cameras these days is amazing
... what reminds me, that I haven't made any long exposures for a while :)
Right, even my 70-200 f/4 has a great image stabilizer.
The weather tomorrow should be quite nice, but beginning in the afternoon they say, it might begin to rain for a few days ... what a weather :(
I wanted to go for a hike to 2 lakes in Slovenia tomorrow morning, but it depends on the weather. I fit's bad in the morning already, then I'll go to that gorge, which has been closed last time I was there in April ... or do something else ;)
I wish you a great weekend JJ 😊
