I visit mainly photography posts, but I don't read every post. I have a look at the photos, and when there's an interesting story or information I read it. It also depends on the time I have - the later I post in the evening, the less time I have... and: a few people get upovotes from me, no matter what they post. I think we have had this theme before ;)

One of the good photographers I've found is entrepidphotos in case you like to check more out or in case you don't know about him, he is very professional.
