Hope, you have a trouble free drive to the airport and back home with Mrs. J, who had a nice flight, of course.I am glad, that I live in a small town, @janton. If we have traffic jams, then we will be delayed by maybe 10 to 15 minutes, but never more.

Howdy sir johannpiber! just got back a little while ago. I don't like big cities at all, I'm a country boy at heart, a redneck one at that, and big cities and I don't mix.
It was raining most of the way in too which isn't fun but I got there, her flight was fine, just a little bumpy because of the rain storms and they were delayed and got in 30 minutes late but she made it and we got back to our place in the country and everytime I go to the big city and get back I say I never want to go to the city again! lol.
I don't like big cities either, but sometimes we make a weekend trip to our capital Vienna, wich is very nice, when the weather is OK. After one or two days I am glad to return back home to my small town, where the countryside is 5-10 minutes away :)Hello @janton,
Howdy today sir johannpiber! I'm glad you know what I mean. But that makes sense because there ain't no rednecks that live in big cities, only the country or small towns. lol.
I thought the countryside was out the back door?
Ups, you remember what I wrote lately 😉
It is green outside, that's true, there is grass and trees and birds, but the real countryside with fields and hills and so is about a mile or two away, depending where I want to go.
oh ok, I get it. The forests are right outside your door though aren't they?
No forest direct outside, just a green scenery with grass and trees at the edge of town, where I am living - three traffic lights and I would be in the real forest ;)
ok, well that's better than 98% of the world, most of whom are stuck in an apartment in a big city. yuck!
