What about getting a photo? I think you could run as fast as you can for a little while, then get behind a big tree and look around with your camera ready!

That's an idea - this is what I will do if I smell something very bad in the woods: I will run and hide behind a tree and smell if that bad smell comes closer ... and then take a photo big my big lens ;)
