It was not that cold, but later on the weather became bad and it started to snow.

But you have the winter coats and hats and so forth so it doesn't matter if it gets cold does it?

No, it wouldn't matter much, but I still prefer to be in the warmth and out of the bad weather, because in the mountains bad weather can become very dangerous too.
