Today it has been heavily raining in Slovenia and in Italy, and on my way home it began to snow heavily in Italy.
I don't know how the weather in Italy is now, because I am at home - in Carinthia it is raining and all the snow is gone ;)

Oh, Rome is so far south from me that whatever weather we have, the weather there will be completely different for sure.

Hello today, Johann. As you may know, here we still celebrate Christmas with Orthodox on Jan 7th, so our "holidays" starts on before NY But good news is that last 2 years we have a state holiday on December 25th too. I look forward to celebrate Christmas together with the rest of the world :)

Oh, I'm sorry, but I never think of such things - I am not that much religious and am glad, that I remember our own holidays ;)
I like Christmas for it's meaning as the feast of love, where the families, friends and even other people come together and celebrate or just are happy and have fun, never mind what god they believe in ... and I don't like the commercial part of Christmas.

So, you have Christmas twice - you can celebrate twice or even longer than the rest of the world ... cool 😉
