A few times a year here in San Francisco an event is held with the bold yet understandable subtitle "The Happiest Place On Earth."
That event is Corgi-Con, where hundreds if not thousands of Corgis and their loving owners descend onto Ocean Beach for a morning and afternoon of height challenged canine frolicking. With highlighted events such as the stubby-legged sand racing and the various costume contests, the energy in this place is something rebarkable to behold.
keeping up with the big dogs
"I have sand on my tongue? Who cares?"
A few more balloons and we would have lost him to the wind.
"It's just a shark on my butt. No worries."
"Will you be my friend?"
I'll never forget seeing a fellow enthusiast photographer struggling with a manual focus lens. Poor fellow; at least he was laughing about it and having a great day like just about every one there! I had my trusty Pentax K-3 with me and primarily used the 55-300mm kit lens with high apertures and quick shutter releases to capture the action near and far. It's quite sharp all the way out at 300. Occasionally I used my DA* 16-50mm for more intimate canine portraits or wide angle group shots.
dude corgis are amazing
LOL. Planet Corgi!
I love corgi but this is not my favorite breed. My favorite breed is Golden retriever. I don't know, if someone likes it or not. But I really like it.
Agreed. If there's ever a GR-con I. am. so. there.
oh nice puppies...
