RE: 6 Things I Will Never Do Again After Flying A Drone

in #photography7 years ago

yes it is indeed a whole new level of awesomeness!

well for a total beginner to fly it, I have to say it is really steady. it's also very zippy and can go real fast if needed. :)

dang... it must be super zippy if a beginner says its zippy. Of all consumer drones the Mavic Air takes top spot in terms of agility really. only racing drones can beat the Air in that and by then there wont be any video quality anymore.

What drone do you fly bro? Sounds like you have a lot of experience. :)

I flew a wide range of enterprise, pro-sumer, custom drones mainly for data collection and surveillance under a company for some time now, as well as providing training to aspiring drone pilots looking for licensing. But now I've detached myself and is now doing it freelance. I'm not that proficient in the engineering side of drones unfortunately.

Ironically, I havent owned a personal drone yet. Weird as it sounds. Though i am on the lookout for second hand drones around for recreational purpose since it's only fitting that i have my own drone.

Who knows, we can start running drone photo/video contests here on steem for videography/photography enthusiast! I only need to get myself a drone and i'll get started already hehehe.

Wah salute bro! The Mavic Pro II is coming soon. You might wanna wait for that. If you want cheap, the GoPro Karma is on fire sale now since they exiting the drone space. Haha

Yeah currently there is one guy on Steemit who is trying to organise drone contests but don’t I think it’s getting a lot of traction. I think with your experience in both Steemit and drones you can easily start one for the community and do it well.
