I promised to show you a few more photographs from my recent weekend in Banff National Park in Alberta.
I don't have much to add to such photos, you can see how pretty they look on your own.
It was the perfect spring vacation with lots of sun and good food.
These photographs were taken on the Sulfur Mountain above the town of Banff. We took the gondola ride up in the morning and spent two hours on the top.
On the top of the mountain, there is wonderfully maintained walking trail which almost justifies $65 gondola ride. Lots of space, lots of stairs and not a lot of shade.
There are also some benches on the way to take a rest or just simply adore the view. The area is very clean and there is hardly any litter around the trail.
As you can see on some photos there is still snow on the mountains. Although I do not like the snow so much it gives a nice contrast to the mountain peaks.
I wish I could visit Banff more often. However, I would probably have way too many photos after.
Have a great Friday. My weekend starts now :)

New addition to bucket list: Visit Banff
Beautiful blue sky. I saw Whistler once as the ski season was ending. That's the closest I have been.
I haven’t made it to Whistler yet. But I have seen photos and I think I’d love it there.
I played a hockey tournament in Banff about a decade ago. It sure was beautiful there. I wish I could have looked around more, but I got sick at the beginning of the tournament and had to save all of my energy to play!
It is hart to properly look around when you have other duties in town. Especially while being sick. Hope you will have more luck next time :)
Yeah, I haven’t been there since.
Maybe one day!
Very beautiful shots @k4r1nn. Banff is really amazing! I went there ounce :)
I’m glad to see you agree with me. Of course nothing beats the live version.

I love Banff National Park in Alberta.
Really gorgeous views, amazing! You have such a nice places in your area!
Canada is cast and diverse country. Thank you. I did not yet have a chance to see all the provinces but luckily Bannf National Park is in the province I live in. “Only” four hour drive away.
excellent photography!
Woooow, prečudovite fotografije z dopusta. Res si me spodbudila, da letos več časa posvetim izletom v gore. Upam, da bodo “nafilane baterije” s pomladanskih počitnic dolgo držale. Lep vikend vama želim in ti pošiljam prav lep pozdravček 👋🏻
Very beautiful mountains and great photography! I'll bet the air was very thin up there. Was it hard to breath?
