Here is my final post from Edmonton Aeroshow. This year was very special one as Canada is celebrating its 150th anniversary. Special guests at the Aeroshow were Canadian Forces (CF) Snowbirds, Air Demonstration Squadron.
Pilots, technicians (aviation, avionics, aircraft structure, supply), mobile support operators, resource management support clerks, an engineering officer, a logistics officer and a public affairs officer representing all three elements (Army, Navy and Air Force), work as a team to bring thrilling performances to the Canadian public. Serving as ambassadors of the CAF, the CF Snowbirds demonstrate the high level of skill, professionalism, teamwork, discipline, and dedication inherent in the men and women of the CAF and they inspire the pursuit of excellence wherever they go in North America.

Birdies are patiently waiting..
..and here they go..
..I was staring to the sky like a five-year-old with eyes and mouth wide open..
..I have never seen flying in formation..now I feel spoiled as I am afraid I have seen the best..
..magnificent planes..they truly fly together as one..
..here comes the fireworks..
..if you look closely, two Snowbirds are flying upside down and two upstraight..or maybe they all fly sideways..
..I know I promised videos but I have low quality videos only so I decided not to post them..however, I encoureage you to look them up on other sites, YouTube is a good source..just type in Snowbirds and you will find amazing videos..maybe in future we wil have them on dTube as well..
..every formation was better than the other..
..I felt like I was in a war movie although the war was the last thing on my mind that day..the sound of the Snowbirds was just magnificent..

I agree I think you have seen the best! The photos where three jets are almost touching in a formation, the ones that replicate firerworks, the heart where they cross at the end, so many beautiful formations with a perfect blue sky and just a few clouds to give some perspective. Very very cool!
They are very experienced pilots and the support crew as well. I have never heard of them before I this event. And I am glad I did.
These air shows are so cool and those are some brave talented pilots!

Wow !! This is super cool, must have been really exciting to see this! It's like airplane art. I love the one where the fly up in formation and break - it looks just like a firework explosion ! The heart granted is awesome as well ! You really saved the best for last - resteemed !
