I took these photographs at 2240 meters above the sea level (app. 7362 ft) on one of the hiking trips with my friends.
The lamb was a part of the sheep herd that is released to the mountains every spring where it can wander freely all summer long. In fall owner gathers it back and brings it to the valley to keep the fluffy flock home during colder weather.
No matter the length of its life this lamb had the one of the best views ever.
I decided to post this group of photos as a reminder of mountains which I do not see that often any more. Living in a city has many perks, however such view is not one of them.
Have a lovely day everyone :)
Looks great. I love mountains too. There is so many wild flowers there that grow only on such heights. Worth the hike!
It is true, many flowers. And they are protected so you can not pick them which is nice so everyone can see them.
I miss the view also. I moved to the country, where you need to travel for few hours to see mountains.
I really want to edit some wings onto that lamb.
It must have been hard to come away from that view, what a great place to spend some time, lucky sheep.
Lol I'd love to see that update ;)
It was indeed. Also it is much easier on the legs going up than down.
As you wish:
Wow. Is this in Slovenia?
It is. Very versatile country and great for summer vacation.
That lamb is looking at you like should I jump... Lol nice post I love the picks.
I am sure it does. It has all the space to do so since there is no fences. Thanks!
Really beautiful view, that's one lucky lamb with such a view :)
Quality over quantity I guess.
Nice shot
BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS !!!
Amazing shots :D
Cool picture
Very cool that the sheep get a summer vacation in the mountains. Don't tell the wolves!
