Natsu. “Summer.”

On a white country road
The dusty breeze stands still.
I drop down to the floor with a bump,
as some kids play marbles.
Shine-shine, glitter-glitter
Well, it’s the sun
Shine-shine, glitter-glitter
Well, it’s the summer
The deep green of the shrine grove
A solemn silence has fallen.
An old tearoom
Someone swings from the store front
Chirp-chirp
It’s the voice of the cicadas
Chirp-chirp
Well, it’s the summer
