Felt a stowaway.

On a hot summer day the golf cart seats could surly fry some bread crepes with butter. Felt, was what we used to prevent our buns from toasting that Saturday afternoon as we played 9 holes. The thermometers were bursting in the shade that day and it seemed fitting to go back to the cart to grab a bottle of water I had sitting in the cup holder. My phone bulged in my pocket and I was going to leave it behind after I got a sip from my bottle. Although I kept blaming my phone, the heat and the keys in my other pocket for my improper swing and being crazy over par I was going to set them down. When I got back to the cart I grabbed some water and went to sit down as I slid my phone in a secret compartment for safe keeping. I felt like I was being watched. I looked around and it was then that I saw it! We locked eyes for a split moment I remembered the taste of the loukoumades drizzled in honey that I had for breakfast.

Will there be a sequel?

I hope there will be a sequel. I am always looking at the world around me for opportunities for adventure both big and small.

Did you ever see it again? Did you see it fly away or could it still be there?

I got my water and sat in the golf cart for a while before I went back to the game.
When I returned it was gone.

Perhaps you'll meet again

I will remain vigilant.
