I live in a small semi-rural town in the heart of Massachusetts. We have apple orchards, old wooden buildings, woodlands, lakes, and rivers. Recently, my town has been featured in several Lifetime and Hulu productions and you may recognize some of the buildings here.
The first photo is of "the bandstand" which was first featured in the film "Ah, Wilderness!", filmed in the 1930's.
These photos were taken this past January after a particularly big snowstorm overnight and at sunrise. I hope you enjoy them!

Old Town Hall and Unitarian Church
Local Country Store and main thoroughfare
The Grafton Inn, also known as the Hotel Kirby
Historic marker denoting the Hassanmesit Indians. There is still a protected longhouse and reservation in town.
A view of the war memorial and flag from the town common.
My neighbor's house in the historic district.
These photos are so striking and different to over here in England. It looks like the quintessential American town in winter.
Thank you. I'm actually from England and moved to this area 21 years ago. It really is like a Christmas card at times 😀
