The (not so) Famous Five Explore Carmarthenshire (South Wales)

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

OK if Enid Blyton can call four humans and a dog five, so can I.

This year we decided we wanted to have a holiday that included our husky. Usually we put him in kennels for the week while we go away.

Two years back on a very wet February weekend husky racing. We found a lovely little place that welcomed dogs to stay. It was a lovely area and we decided we would try it again, but this time when there was a better chance of good weather to explore.

We (husband, two daughter, husky and I) arrive at our accommodation a couple of hours back. Just as we remembered it  and the lady who owned the property had even left us some homemade jam, welsh cakes and bread.

I am writing this and researching castle to visit over the next week, while husband and daughter get some tea in.

Weather forecast is looking promising. Not a heat wave, but a good chunk of days with sunshine and no rain.

So the five of us are looking forward to exploring Wales and its castles & History and sharing it with all of you.

There were eight of the Welsh cakes, but they were very nice and we were rather hungry.
