I took this photo using two Ozarka water bottles and a regular bedside night lamp.
Taken with the following camera settings:
- Aperture: f/16
- Shutter speed: 1/100 sec
- ISO: 100
Camera used: Canon T3i, Lens used: 18-55mm basic, Tripod used: No
Explanation
I took two Ozarka 500ml plastic water bottles, cut them from the center and cut off the tops on both of them. I then and joined them from the center neatly using tape. This gave me a hollow plastic bottle which was double the length of a single bottle. I then placed it on top of my bedside lamp using a regular bread tie-wire, positioning it exactly above the bulb. Took the photo looking into the bottle with the bulb at its other end.
Aperture: f/16
A small enough aperture selected to get a high depth of field - to get a good length of the inside of the plastic bottle in focus.
Shutter speed: 1/100 sec
Selected the shutter speed low enough to make the plastic bottle look well lit and bright, at the same the photo to not be too bright that it shows the body of the night lamp below the bottle.
I called this photo "Reactor" depicting a reactor core.
