Coquito meaning "Little Coconut" in Spanish is a traditional Christmas drink that originated in Puerto Rico. The coconut-based alcoholic beverage is similar to eggnog, hence it is sometimes called Puerto Rican Eggnog.
Thanks, Wikipedia!
One of the Puerto Rican ladies I used to work with would always talk about making coquito for holidays, even though I am not that much of a mixologist myself, I thought it was a good idea to make this soul warming beverage to share with my friends on Thanksgiving.
It is super simple to prepare and doesn't really take any time at all aside from cooling down in the fridge, they say it's best enjoyed chilled.
Ingredients:
- 1 can cream of coconut;
- 1 can coconut milk;
- 1 can condensed milk;
- 1 can evaporated milk;
- 1 1/2 cups white rum;
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon;
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg;
- cinnamon sticks for serving.
Now, when it comes to the size of these cans they were somewhere in between 12oz-15oz, pretty much your regular ones.
Directions:
In a blender combine evaporated milk, condensed milk, coconut milk, cream of coconut, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pulse until fully incorporated.
Add white rum to the mixture, shake it well and let the mixture sit in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.
Enjoy this thick and rich goodness one of these cold winter days.

Would really love to have some.
When is Thanksgiving?
It was this past Thursday!
Ah! Alright.
You must have enjoyed it :)
Few days ago i have tasted some ice-cream with coconut cream, coconut makes it a bit more tasty. 😋.
I didn't have a coconut ice cream before I don't think, but I see how it would make it better.
That sounds and looks really good!
Turned out pretty delicious, if you like coconut! Thank you :)

As if a woman has ever let someone as disgusting and repulsive as you close enough to her skin . . .
