According to locals it used to be a dangerous and crime ridden area of the city just several years ago. Today though it is a beautiful and taken care city park that features the Belle Isle Aquarium, Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory, Dossin Great Lakes Museum, the James Scott Memorial Fountain, and other attractions like Detroit Yacht and Boat Club and golf course.

I still prefer to take a photo with my camera, but I will buy a new one, but despite the good light, the phones also make beautiful photos.

That must have been a really "bad" neighborhood, if Detroit natives are saying that. Anyways, the greenhouses at Belle Island look classic & modern at the same!
