Hello dear Steemian friends! Welcome to the 20th episode of:
#OneBreathOnePhoto
As some of you may know, two of the things that I'm deeply passionate about besides travelling, is Freediving and Photography. Freediving is a practice of diving underwater without a tank or any other breathing apparatus, gliding through the watery abyss on a single breath of air with nothing but you and nature.
This was shot inside Swallow's Cave, a beautiful blue cave in the Kingdom of Tonga where I saw an underwater spaceman floating through space surrounded by aliens.

Great shot! Love the way he's lit, while they're schooling in the shadows around him.
I totally agree - seeing other divers underwater totally feels like seeing a spaceman. haha
Thanks Megan! I think underwater is as close as I'll ever get to experiencing space, to be honest I really dont think it's that much different after all, the weightlessness, breathlessness, pressure. It's interesting how ancient cosmologies depicted space to be filled with water, aka the firmament.. and earth is contained in a fishbowl like dome...etc... I think I should stop now before people look at me funny hahah. I still believe it tho 😃
Sweet shot @kuenok great to see some other underwater photographers amongst the Steemit community. Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff!
Thanks for finding me @bluebottlefilms, looking forward to seeing more of your work too!
Hi @kuenok. Amazing profile and photos, I'm now following you! I've dived a lot about 10 years ago, Cape Town, Durban, Mozambique, Mauritius and the Red Sea. I just don't make time these days to scuba. Glad you still getting out there. ;)
Thanks @extremejogging, though I do less scuba and more freediving these days the spots you mentioned are definitely on my bucket list! Thanks visiting and all the best with jogging! very cool!
Very nice shot sensei..
Hey @foovler! Thanks for dropping by again!
Much appreciated :)
