yeah it's devastating for many, last year a city of 80 000 had to be evacuated, we sheltered many of them in our city. it's not easy finding temporary accommodation, food, clothing for that many. As devastating as it may be, witnessing the various efforts from the volunteers driving up to the area with gathered supply for those that were stranded in the evacuation, quick set up of temporary shelter and donations , it restores faith in humanity how everybody comes together in a pinch to do what they can to help those in distress. It is always heartfelt to see so many wonderful people coming together to share their love and help with those in need. I saw our news today about the devastation from the hurricane in Texas, My heart just broke to think so many are having to suffer from so much loss. I am sure the nation will come to aid them too. yes my heart sank for Houston. They are not out of the woods yet. I Imagine it's going to be the next major disaster in the USA since Hurricane Katrina. Hopefully it comes to an end soon. It is lovely to meet you as well @sunscape !
