Hello dear Steemit Community! I hope you are doing great :)
Today I want to show you some pictures of la Alameda Central located at the heart of downtown Mexico City. I hope you like it and see what you can find around it!
Let´s start!
This is a picture I took from the side of Av. Hidalgo, you can see the Alameda, the Palacio de Bellas Artes and the Latinamerican Tower at the background. La Alameda is the oldest public park of the city built in the sixteenth century and
the main entrance is located in Av. Juárez, it is part of the Historical Center which encompasses many streets.
The main cultural attraction is the Fine Arts Palace which was built in 1934. If you come to Mexico don´t forget to visit this beautiful building, there are very good art exhibitions and there is musical and dance events.
The Latinamerican Tower is one of the tallest buildings in the city and it has a very nice restaurant and an awesome view from the top.
If you walk through the Alameda you will find historical monuments, fountains like the shown below and places where you can seat and enjoy the weather. This park has been remodeled several times, the latest one was in 2012 and it was really worth it because it was decaying fast, now it has been revitalized and is more alive, you can see people enjoy it more and feel safer.
Fuente de la Primavera, Fountain of the Spring
This is another picture I took from the Alameda, many people will only walk straight and won´t really immerse in this park so it is really cool to show you pictures that not everyone can see :)
Final picture of this day, is a picture taken from Av. Juárez the front view that everyone sees where there are many restaurants, The Tolerance Museum and many other places. But this time I want to show you something special. In Mexico City there will always be a protest. However you should not be afraid, these type of demonstrations are so common that the mayor problem is the traffic jam if you get stock within one! Here I was walking and the policemen were getting ready for a demonstration, at the end I don´t think there was need of some many policemen.
I hope you like these descriptions and photographs!
