Came across this big boy while on the trails the other day, and about 400 meters later met with a huge Black Mamba. Didn't have enough time to get a shot of the mamba, and I wasn't going to wait around and ask for a photo opportunity, those snakes scare the crap out of me!
Wow, that snake is no joke! I love mountain biking too and have had one run in with a bear, but I think the snake is honestly scarier...
I've had some encounters with cobras and other snakes, but the adder was the first one I could get a picture of. a Bear would scare some serious speed out of me, normally not a fan of climbing, but a bear would turn me into the best climber in the world!
