Secara umum pengertian olahraga adalah sebagai salah satu aktivitas fisik maupun psikis seseorang yang berguna untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan seseorang setelah olahraga. “Olahraga” datang dari bhs Perancis Kuno desport yang bermakna “kesenangan”, serta pengertian berbahasa Inggris tertua ditemukan seputar th. 1300 yakni “segala hal yang mengasyikkan serta menghibur untuk manusia”. Olahraga adalah satu diantara sumber utama dari hiburan karenanya ada pendukung olahraga yang umumnya terbagi dalam beberapa besar orang dan bisa disiarkan lebih luas lagi lewat tayangan olahraga. Olahraga adalah kesibukan yang benar-benar utama untuk menjaga kesehatan seorang. Olahraga juga adalah satu diantara cara utama untuk mereduksi stress. Olahraga juga adalah satu tingkah laku aktif yang menggiatkan metabolisme serta memengaruhi manfaat kelenjar didalam badan untuk menghasilkan system kekebalan badan dalam usaha menjaga badan dari masalah penyakit dan stress. Oleh karenanya, benar-benar disarankan pada tiap-tiap orang untuk lakukan aktivitas olahraga dengan cara teratur serta tersetruktur dengan baik. Manfaat olahraga bagi tubuh manusia dapat membantu melindungi dari penyakit seperti stroke, jantung, diabetes, tekanan darah tinggi, obesitas, osteoporosis, nyeri punggung, dan dapat meningkatkan suasana hati dan mengurangi stress selain dari manfaat yang telah di sebutkan di atas, olahraga juga bisa membentuk otot- otot yang ada di dalam tubuh manusia baik yang menginginkan bentuk tubuh yang berotot juga bisa menjaga stamina tubuh agar selalu fit. Agar manfaat yang dicapai lebih maksimal, para ahli merekomendasikan untuk melakukan 20 sampai 30 menit aktivitas aerobik tiga kali atau lebih dalam seminggu serta berbagai kegiatan olahraga lainnya untuk menguatkan otot dan peregangan setidaknya dua kali seminggu. Namun, jika tidak bisa melakukan kegiatan berolahraga setiap hari bisa menggantinya dengan melakukan kegiatan sehari-hari dengan mengumpulkan 30 menit atau lebih dengan melakukan kegiatan mengepel.

The benefits of exercise for the human body can help protect against diseases such as stroke, heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, osteoporosis, back pain, and can improve mood and reduce stress apart from the benefits mentioned above, muscles that exist in the human body either who want a muscular body shape can also keep the body's stamina to always fit. In order to maximize the benefits, experts recommend to do 20 to 30 minutes of aerobic activity three or more times a week as well as various other sports activities to strengthen muscles and stretch at least twice a week. However, if you can not exercise any day can replace it by doing daily activities by collecting 30 minutes or more by doing the sweeping activity.
