One of my favorite things is going to chalk art shows. I have gone to local chalk art festivals every summer for the past three years, starting with one and then last year adding another.
Last weekend I attended the first of the summer, Chalk It Up.
It started with this incredible talented artist depicting a dragon and its maiden -- presumably from "Game of Thrones" (I admit I have never seen it.)
Along the path, I found this dapper, well-dressed little rabbit.
This artistic landscape in the shape of a wolf.
Not to mention this adorable little penguin headed to the moon!
Sometimes people go with simple and colorful patterns.
And sometimes it's black and white, but superbly detailed.
You always have your classic geeks who want to show off their geekdoms. And The Mandalorian is always a hit!
I spied this cowboy on a bucking bronco!
And if you want the quintessential "dude," look no further...
I'm always a fan of the classically artistic offerings.
And one that I found unique was this dual-toned image of a water spirit.
More coming very soon!
Those are great. How they get such detail with chalk is amazing.
I know, right?! Wait till you see some of the others! What truly artistic people can do just amazes me every time.
